As the Bicylce Depot took up it's new found home at Southland Shopping Centre, Cheltenham, Melbourne, Vic, Aus. The Location had a large "dead space" not suitable to a traditional stock window display due to space/lighting constraints from within the store that simply would not generate the desired impact. The location at the main east entrance to Australias largest shopping centre provided ample opportunity to use this window space as a graphic that could be seen from across the car park.

The store funded and backed by the Bicycle Authory Australia and GT Bikes Australia had access to many images that would appeal to the dominant market of the area.... BMX ramp kids... with a skatepark only a few hundred metres away. Through elimination a highlight image of Jamie Bestwick ripping was chosen and blown up into an image standing 12m high with various photoshopping applied to remove any pixelation and branding when applied at such a size. The graphic overlay featuring treads and cogs helps step the photo into the realm of hi-end advertising and breaks up the image and give no distraction to the naming and branding in the upper right.
