Standard Practice in Australia is to have an emergency floorplan in any public enclosed space.

Kino Cinemas, a venue with multiple cinemas, sought to revise their outdated linework floorplan with a bold, easy to read diagram to quickly, easily and intuitively state to the reader where they are, nearby amenities, emergency services and evacuation plan.

With a high portion of the clientelle 50yrs+ it was essential to use bold use of simple colour to easily identify location. The map was placed at several points throughout the building with "you are here" markers to help positioning.
